Note: Being that my payments are accepted through PayPal, recipients of gift certificates will need a PayPal account to cash in their certificate, in order to pay for their products . Refunds
I sincerely hope that you will love your purchase and I want you to be a "happy" customer. Happy customers become loyal customers. I will do what it takes to make it right. Once the product is received, you will be issued a refund within 1-3 business days. Please email me via the contact form, prior to shipping, to request your refund.
Exchanges
You may exchange your purchase, within 7 days of purchase, for another product of equal value, less the restocking fee. The product must be in its original packaging, unopened and unused. Disclaimer
It is your responsibility to read all ingredients listed on each product to ensure that you do not purchase any product that you are allergic to. Some products contain nut oils, egg products, dairy products, bee products, etc. Shea butter contains natural latex. If you have any allergies to any of the ingredients, do not purchase the product. If you have questions before making a purchase, send me an email via the contact form.
Some essential oils should not be used by pregnant women, as they may stimulate contractions. If you are pregnant, do not purchase soaps or other products that contain essential oils.
All soap is slippery, as are body scrubs and other oil based products. Use caution when showering and bathing, as the tub or shower will be slippery.
All soap will sting if it gets into the eyes. Use caution when washing the face. If you get soap into your eyes, flush with water until the stinging ceases.
No preservatives are added to soap. Some soaps can be stored for years. Some may last less than a year. It is wise to purchase only the amount of soap that will last you up to 6 months.
Other than soap, all hydrous products (products made with water) and some anhydrous products (products made with oils) need preservatives. This is for your health and safety. If no preservatives are added to these types of products, they will grow bacteria, molds and yeasts. Soap will not. I would rather provide you with a safe and healthy product than a product that may grow "nasties". Preservatives are added to scrubs though they are an oil based product. The reason is because when you use these products in the bath or shower, you have a tendency to get water into the product. Water is what causes "nasties" to grow. As a practice of sanitation, you should always handle your products with clean hands; not just these products, but all products. Purchase only the amount of product that will last you up to 6 months. The reason is because unlike commercially manufactured products, these handmade products are not chocked full of chemicals to make them last as long. These products are made mainly from gifts of nature. The harsh chemicals are what we are trying to get away from. The preservatives added to my products are safe and not harsh. Everything I make for you, I use for myself and my family.
Due to different computer monitors, some products may appear one color on one monitor and another color on another monitor. If you have any confusion use the contact form for any questions. I will get back with you as soon as I can.
Being that the soaps are handmade, no two soaps are the same in design. The soap pattern that you see in the photo may be different than the pattern you receive.
Some bars may have very slight imperfections. It is because they are handmade and not machine generated.
When making a purchase, you are purchasing only the item described for sale. The purchase does not include any of the props or background items.
Prices
Unless stated otherwise, prices are per each (ea).
California Prop 65 Warning
The State of California requires that merchants inform customers when any item that they sell may contain lead or other chemicals in its manufacture. Ceramics and lead crystal items may, at times, be offered for sale on this site, either as a sole item or as part of a gift package/basket. Ceramics and lead crystal, on many occasions may/will contain lead or other chemicals in its manufacture. These chemicals are known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. As a public, we generally use/handle/purchase these items frequently. The State of California feels that you have a right to know and therefore must be made aware of it. This notice serves that purpose.
Wholesale Accounts
I will not be adding wholesale accounts until February, 2013, for orders to start shipping mid April 2013. If you have an interest and would like to be added to the list to be notified with Terms & Conditions, please use the contact form to send a notice of interest to me. It will also be very helpful if you can tell me a little about your shop, including your website, and what types of products you would like to see, kinds of fragrances, etc, so I will have an idea of your needs. I anticipate that I will be sending all info the end of December, 2012. In the meantime, you may want to purchase samples, which will be available on site, shortly, to make a decision as to if you are interested in the product, or not. I will be selecting a limited number of shops/spas. Criteria is that the products are carried in successful, high end, upscale shops/spas, with at least 2 verifiable years in the location.
