I have always been fascinated with how one can take something in raw form and turn it in to something so beautiful. I love working with my hands and creating things. My eyes "see" the potential in using many, many things to create beautiful handcrafted items. In the 29 years that I have been crafting, I have always had an interest in creating soap and candles. I started studying many years ago, and a few years ago, I began to breathe life into The Habie Rose Collection, and it grew from there.
All products are made from scratch, from creating the formula, to design and production. All products are made in small batches so that the attention to detail is never lost. Once soaps are removed from the loaf or slab mold, they are hand cut into individual bars and cured, to allow the bars to harden.The products that are offered for purchase, are what is available at that time. The curing process for the soaps is ongoing and therefore different types and designs of soaps will be offered as they are cured. I love an eclectic look, so as not to become boring. My packaging may change, at any time. Check back often to see what products are available.
Being that the soaps are handcrafted, no design will ever be the same. My formulas for all products are created solely by me and therefore the products you are purchasing from me, are exclusive only to the The Habie Rose Collection and its divisions. I use an abundance of exotic oils and butters in my products and all products are formulated keeping in mind the aging skin. I guess that is because MY skin is aging. What I create for you is what I want and use for myself. I test each and every batch of all products to make sure that what I am offering to you meets the high standards that I would have for myself, as a consumer. Nothing goes out of the door unless I have approved it for use on my own skin.
There are a lot of fine handcrafted products out there. I invite you to compare the ingredients of the products in The Habie Rose Collection to any high end luxury product on the market, today, both commercial and handcrafted. No need to pay $165/oz for a high end facial serum...I offer my high end facial serum for a fraction of that.
The goal in creating handcrafted bath & body products is to eliminate as much harsh chemical in our products as we possibly can, in an effort to get as close to natural as we possibly can. With the exception of soap, which does not need a preservative, some products, such as those that use water in the formulation, need a preservative in order to keep the "nasties" (bacteria, mold, yeast, ) out of the product. All of the "nasties" will grow very quicky in products that contain water, without preservatives. Some you can see...some you cannot. Weigh the options. Which would you prefer to put on your skin? Preservatives are necessary to protect your health. The majority of my products do not contain water and thus do not need a preservative, with the exception of body scrubs/polish, which do contain preservatives due to the fact that water may be introduced into the product, when taken into the shower or introducting hands into the product.
